Before you begin, you will need the following:

1) Your Applecare Box (pictured right)
2) Copy of your TigerTech receipt
3) Your computer's packaging (box)
4) A computer with an active internet connection
If you bought your computer from TigerTech, you may have purchased it at the same time as your computer purchase (i.e., some of our Summer Welcome bundles include Applecare). If you did not purchase this box, we recommend it as it will extend your 90-day phone / one-year hardware warranty into a three year phone and hardware support warranty. One important note: Always keep this information in a safe place. Do not throw it away or lose it. In case your registration is not successful, it is important to have your receipt and enrollment number to ensure that you will not have to pay for support if you ever need it. Now you're ready to register with Applecare.

Inside your Applecare box, you will find several items that you can read over if you wish. You are here to learn how to register, however, so find the paper pictured on the right.

Note that the enrollment number is at the top of this document. You will need this as we proceed.

Turn the document over and you will find instructions to get on Apple's website and enroll Applecare:

Follow these instructions to create your Apple ID (if you don't already have one) and enroll your Applecare warranty. You will need the purchase date that can be found on your receipt as well as the serial number that can be found on the computer box. That's it, your computer is now protected for three years from your purchase date.

Also note that your enrollment number is printed on the white cd-sleeve that is included in the box:
