Textbook information is subject to change due to a
variety of factors including course cancellations or new instructors.
University Bookstore provides the most up to date information that we
have about your textbooks. If University Bookstore sells you the wrong
textbook, we will refund that book or exchange for the correct edition
upon presentation of your receipt. We cannot, however, guarantee a refund
for books purchased by customers from other sources.
For MU Direct courses, choose MU Direct as the department.
For Nursing, Radiological Sciences or Respiratory Therapy
courses, select ‘Nursing,’ ‘Radiological Sciences’
or ‘Respiratory Therapy’ from the list of departments.
If you selected used textbooks, they will be shipped only
if available. Otherwise, new textbooks will be substituted to complete
your order
Textbook Pricing
As a not-for-profit organization, we strive to obtain the best pricing for our customers. Whenever possible, we’ll provide you with a choice between new and used textbooks. While some prefer books free from marks and highlighting, others may appreciate our used textbooks, which could save you up to 25% (sometimes more!) over the cost of a new textbook.
We will stock as many used books as possible, but, as you can imagine, they are generally in high demand. Compare for yourself and discover how you can save by selecting used textbooks.
Just like other major purchasing decisions, when you buy your textbooks it’s important to understand what factors can typically affect the cost. Textbooks can be expensive, but they represent a good value for the dollars spent.
Distance Learning:
Shipments going outside of the US
will be shipped by the best method possible. In some cases, this
will be UPS. In others cases, it will be via US Mail, depending
on the destination country and the customs requirements. APOs & FPOs will always be shipped via US
Mail. The customer is charged the actual cost of shipping and an attempt
will be made to contact them in advance.
Shipping (On-Campus/Off-Campus Courses):
You may not receive your entire book order due to textbook
availability. Textbooks are received daily. If you receive a partial order,
please check back with us or stop by the bookstore. Our experienced staff
will be happy to assist you in locating your textbooks. We are located
in the lower level of the University Bookstore - Brady Commons.
